WDAS monthly meetings will resume after the summer recess, beginning on the first Tuesday in October, the 6th. After the summer break, there will be plenty to review, discuss and plan, including reports on August’s solar eclipse, the Regatta events, Star parties and the DSS facility.

Meetings are held at Whitby School, Prospect Hill Site, in room H1 of the main block, from 7:30pm. They normally take place on the first Tuesday of each month from October to May, though January and April dates may vary because of school holidays.

If you are new to the area or have recently become interested in the night sky and would like to join the society, please get in touch — you will be very welcome.
